Biological assessment and surveys
Biological assessment and surveys
What to evaluate and why?
If your intended project has a potential to intervene in the protection of the environmental interests (according to the Act No. 114/1992 Col.) you have a duty to secure a biological evaluation of the land under consideration.
The decision regarding the necessity of such biological evaluation is taken by the relevant authority for the protection of environment.
The biological evaluation can only be carried out by an authorized person proposed by an investor and approved by the environmental protection authority.
Biological assessments and surveys are carried out according to the following Czech Republic and EU legislation:
- Act CNR No 114/1992 col. Protection of nature and countryside
- Directive MZP CR No. 175/2006 Col., which changes the directive 395/1992 Col.
- ZDirective No 468/2004, authorised persons according to Act 114/1992
- Act No.100/2001 Col. Assessment of environmental impact
The aim of these biological assessments is the analysis of given locality and an assessment of impacts of the proposal on the plants and animals habitats and also suggestion of environmental protection measures.
Content of biological assessments and surveys
Together with the biological assessments we offer the biological investigations in relation to the assessment of the environmental impacts of various intended projects, buildings and technologies (EIA).
The biological investigations are used as a basis for applications for funding and compensations from the national budget, the state funds of environment and the European funds. We also offer plans of special areas of protection and related natural biological investigations concerning individual groups of organisms. We have the experts for even highly specialized investigations.
