The integrated prevention and pollution control is based on the Act No. 76/2002, which is in force since 1st of January 2003. The purpose of this legislation is to achieve a high-level of environmental protection, to ensure integrated approach of authorities to certification and to keep an integrated register of environmental pollution. Plant operators have a duty to apply to the appropriate authority for the integrated licence. Types of plants which require IPPC licence are listed in the legislation.
An application for such licence must contain data about the facilities, its activities, material and energy demands, further description and quantifying of impact on the environment. It must also contain the characteristics of the land where the facility is located, description of provision for observation and minimalization of negative influences on the environment and suggestion of the conditions of its operation. Used technology must be compared with the best available technology (BAT). The relevant authority can ask for the professional review from an authorised person in order to issues the integrated certificate.
The legislation gives the operators of facilities number of duties, which must to be fulfilled. To assist them we are offering the following services:
