Strategic environmental Impact assessment (SEA)

Strategic Environmental Assessment is an important tool of the environmental protection. SEA deals with long term concepts i.e. plans, programmes, policies and strategies of the regional governments, towns and villages. The aim of the assessment is to obtain objective and complex information about possible impacts on the environment. Process of SEA is govern by Act No 100/2001 Col.and Act No 93/2004 Col.

According to the Building Legislation the Town and Country planning documentation is also subject to the process of SEA.
